REFLECTIONS
CTRL + U: Manually update the 360 degree reflection texture. Reflections in Lumion rely on a single 360 degree panoramic reflection texture which is projected onto all reflective materials. In Lumion 2, add the Lights -> Utilities -> Reflection control object to your scene to specify the position where the 360 degree panoramic reflection texture should be rendered at.

(I assume you found out how to place the Reflection Control object based on the tip above)

The 360 degree reflection texture that is projected onto all reflective materials in the scene is updated automatically when you move the Reflection Control object. So why do we include a manual way to update the 360 degree reflection texture?

Well, CTRL + U is meant to be used when you change something in your scene, for example if you move some models and you want the moved models to show up on the 360 degree reflection texture. The reason that you need to update it manually by pressing CTRL + U is that it takes a few moments to calculate this texture, so we can't update it all the time in Build mode as this would severely reduce performance.

However, the 360 degree reflection texture is updated all the time when you render movies and images (just make sure you use 3-star quality).
