Hi Ciscolara,

I know this is not the answer you would be expecting, but depending on your modelling ability, you can create you own characters, animate them and export in fbx to lumion.  I have done this aimed to full the gap in Arabic characters.

See here for an early experiment on thi:

AL NOOR ARABIC PARK DESIGN UAE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFztcmmlEmI#ws)

I am also writing a chapter on creating them this in my up-and-coming ebook!  Stay tuned!  ;)

I sort of agree that making it easier to import any kind of animated characters (even at the cost of them not being very "economical" in Lumion) would be the ultimate solution.

The diversity of needed characters is so great that I doubt the development team will ever be able to cope with the different wishes (although ciscolara, your wishes seem to be valid, too).

I for example would love to see mounted Roman horsemen at the moment. Do you think the developers will come to fulfil my wish any time soon? :D

Here is a project I wish to expand a little bit (note that it was made with Lumion version 1 I think and I was also a kind of newbie back then - not as if I were a very experienced Lumioner now)

Somewhere on the Roman Limes in Pannonia (WIP) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD1gw6fSWGc#ws)

(Blendman: I am really looking forward to your tutorial/ebook whatever - just kep it simple for dummies like me) ;)
