Title: Lack of shodow
Post by: Member2688 on May 07, 2012, 07:56:50 pm
I am doing this test animation.

if you can see, in some parts of the video. there is a SHODOW PROBLEM
The farther the camera is from the geometry, the less shodow it is.
in some parts even there is no shodow at all. but when the camera gets close to the geometry the shodos shows up again.

you can see this happening many times during the animation.
is this normal? if it is.....thats terrible!
am I doing something wrong?
how can I fex this!?

greatings
thanks

there is a shadow range slider in weather mode.
it is also available in the movie effects. there you can use keyframes for best adaption of your movie.

keep in mind: the larger the shadow range the more blurred get the shadows
the smaller the shadow range the sharper and more detailed are the shadows

kind regards
