Title: Default sun settings?
Post by: Member3726 on April 14, 2012, 12:14:11 am
I noticed is that among the "Suns list" (Sun types available after clicking on "Presets") there is no "default sun"?!

By default sun, I mean the sun we get when we load a fresh start scene.

I noticed that none of the sun types present in the "Presets" list is not a default sun.

Therefor if you decide that none of the offered new sun types does not suit you, and you want to get back to the default one, you need to turn off your Lumion application, and pray you have not pressed the F5 (save) button after the change from default to new sun emerged (due to lack of "undo" function in Lumion).

Am I wrong on this? I am using Lumion SP 2.0

Thank you for the reply.

I did not even know you can have sun presets. Where do you set them? ???

That's true.  In V1 as you said, if you change to a preset there's no undo or default to go back to, so like many things in V1, the user needs to just be a bit careful and think first before applying changes, experimentation though is nice.

Easy enough though to return to a default, just open a new scene and see what the default settings are and replicate those for sun brightness etc.

In V2 there are no presets for weather at present, so it doesn't matter.

Ah, okay, I know (remember) now. I was trying to look so hard in the current version. :)

Thanks!
