I have some questions that I have not been able to find the answer for in the forum
- Is it possible to change the location of the sun throughout an animation or between camera positions, within the same movie clip. If so how would you do this?Â
- Can you assign a movement to an object such as a Door? Like you can cars and people.
- My firm created an animation for a client without much experience in Lumion. We have the current site and building modeled in Lumion but need to add mountains on the horizon. We originally thought that the ground plane was infinitely editable and were going to just pull them up with the terrain tool. Our model is to close to the editable boundary and we cannot model the mountains in the correct location. Any advise on what to do about this without having to remodel the site. Is it possible to export the current Lumion model (trees, building, modified terrain, etc...) into a new Lumion landscape?
Thanks in advance!

1. Use "Set Sun Height" in movie mode. I havn't really gotten a handle on this one, but I know this is how you do it.
2. You should be able to move imported objects with the update, however this is only a straight line path, e.g. no rotation about the doors hinges.
3. I've had the same problem. My solution was to select all my imported objects and move them to well within the editable boundary, then I selected all my vegetation and realligned it to the imported object. Continue the process with rocks, transportation, etc. You may try choosing the "make large mountain" button from the terrain editing tools before editing further.

2. You can use the same move method as cars on doors. You will need to use the update for it to work.

3. You can just select the mountain range and all your models will be placed on the ground.

Dear Ferry,
Â
Can you please explain more detail about what is mountain range. Did you mean make mountain?
Can I ask again is that a way to export edited Lumion models to new terrain.

In the terrain menu  you see 5 buttons 3 for changing the terrain to a default terrain and export and import. You can import your terrain from another project here to get your models into that terrain.
