Hello, im very excited about this amazing program, and congratulations by the way, thats an amazing work too.
I want to leave here a sugestion... What about a road creator/editor, that can create not only the roads but one thing that is the most boring and hard to do, "Crossroads", its so difficult to match the roads with the crossroad (both with sidewalk) with the same texture maps and UVW.I've never saw such editor, this could be the first one, and this would save A LOT OF TIME, reducing the workflow time and stress by 90%.
Well, thats my sugestion, i hope you can even think about it.
Thanks for now.

Roads are one of the things on the drawing board. It's a nice feature to have but it's not really essential. Probably the easiest way is to import all roads and streets from Sketch-up or whatever modeling package you use.
-
We did already model all road parts possible in the USA and for a future update will try to do the same for other countries. But since it was hard to place them we are skipping them for 1.0. You can expect roads in future versions.

I really like the idea of a road editor, currently i'm working on modeling all of the available options of the roads in The Netherlands with street furniture and traffic signs in 3dmax.

Building roads is just a matter of getting all the right models. If we want to make a road system we probably want something that makes it easy to snap road sections together and something that places the road correctly on hillsides.
It's really easy to just import your roads from Sketchup or Max so if you know how to make roads in your design program you can port them over.

This video can give us an idea.

Hey guys, thanks for reply.
The idea of a road editor, is that you can create a road who can follow a spline, that way you have a full control of where you want to put your road, respecting and matching the topographical environment.
