Hi all,
I have discovered a new plugin for sketchup very interesting to spray in differents ways, object (trees for exemple) with random. A lot of functions are included which could inspire Lumion team maybe ... I have included the Pdf reference book with this email.
great tool. :o :o The settings box is very clear ... ;)

Does it spray trees all over beaches?
Different types and shapes?
Or all around a pool on a private exotic island?
Curious.

Wrongly irony. Some 3D programmes and analogues of Lumion too have that instrument. Slopes of Lumion's mountains have not trees (that is far of reality), so that instrument could help to plant wood or grove or glade full of fsorted flowers.

Some kind of an ecosystem paint brush has been requested some times now already and indeed it would be some awesome addition to Lumion (especially if it also worked on imported terrain mesh, not only on the native Lumion terrain).

I think getting objects to adapt to imported terrain is a must have function. Unless a terrain height slider is added to the heightmap import and the terrain size increases drastically. I am building real cities in Lumion and as the prior two features are not yet available in Lumion, I must use imported terrain.

Me too. And I am afraid I will need to keep importing my terrains as meshes in the future, too. I simply cannot create an accurate enough terrain in Lumion for my draped roads for instance. (Or we need a road tool, too)
