I have created several HD & Full HD movies using Lumion with 3 star quality selected. Each movie runs for about 2 minutes. These movie files are very smooth and play back seamlessly.
However, when I save these files as hi definition movies with titles and music using Windows Live Movie Maker the resulting files are far from seamless and appear very jerky and animated.
I am using an i7-2600 with 8G ram and a GTX 570 graphics card. Any thoughts on the best settings / program to create smooth, seamless movies with music and titles?

Derekw,
Notwithstanding your impressive computer specifications, I have never been that impressed by Movie Maker Live, and even less than the former bundled Window's Movie Maker 2.0 - 2.6, which limited imports, along with other glitches. You might do better with Adobe Premiere, or Magix Movie Plus 16 , which - if you are going to do alot of this sort of thing - is a better, long term investment.
Note: Some of us were not happy about the conditions of the competition entry 2011, that the end product file had to be in MP4 format. The results were not alway good, compared with other formats. Another issue.

Thanks for your feedback Blendman.
I know you're not a big fan of Windows Live Movie Maker but I've just had play with the settings and managed to solve my problem. I created my own custom setting in the 'save movie' options. I simply increased the bit rate from 8000 (default) to 16000, my movies now run smoothly!
Thanks again - and I'll look into those other programs as well!
