Hey,
Vrrt is a Company in Delhi. One of my juniors was working there. They are a Architectural Vizualization company. Its all done in V-ray and Max. Pretty old fashioned way. I stay here in Delhi and am freelancer here. So have a bit know how of my competitors  ;).

What is all about? There are lot of PR renderers. Some of them are excellent. But we are in Lumion forum. I think impossible to compare it with programmes of another level. Lumion is for undemanding architects who want to keep their time and money - not to hire expensive visuaisators. It is good choice for students who have not time and can not bye expensive PC. Or for young freelancers. We rank hotels by stars why not to do it with renders? I think compromise of Lumion  won three star -middle from five for speed and two for realistic quality. Or it has five stars in his class.

Come Newman, I'm not comparing Lumion renderings, just watch the videos if you feel well. To me it is an excellent exercise to improve my camera movements, details of modeling and lighting techniques and much more.

Yes, I see. Direction is a main part of visualisation. But possibilities depend of level of program. For example thin tuning of the way and time between keys -here Lumion cannot offer too much

Nicolasweh,

I appreciate your efforts to showcase the design aspects, not necessarily the tools or medium used. Please keep them coming!   Having said that I found the follow on discussion very interesting, esp.  Since India is about a 3 hour flight from where I live (UAE).

I have worked for three major international Architectural & Planning companies, and India and China remain popular places to get relatively cheap render outputs.  No criticisim of Lumion intended, but for now some clients what Rolls Royce quality renders and walkthroughs, as clients are still willing to pay big $$ for this, and 3D Max and VRay are where they will remain focussed, not until they can be convinced that can save on time and cost.

Having said this, and this is yet to be proven, Lumion 2 will certainly up the game, esp.  now that one has flexibility to move lighting, and do night shots.
