Title: Interior Furniture
Post by: Member9911 on October 20, 2011, 07:06:09 am
Hi all Lumion friends =)

I just was wondering, how you do when making interiors at Lumion. There is no interior furniture objects.

I have to import all the beds, tables, etc, and reaply the materials at lumion? or lumion saves the materials (textures) of certain objects (like 3d Max, Vray, Artlantis, Sketchup).

Thanks in advance for the answers, and thanks Lumion Staff for a wonderfull program.

The reason that there are not any interior models such as furniture in Lumion is that Lumion 1 was primarily designed for outdoor visualisations.

With the upcoming release of Lumion 2 (and the Model Pack plugin), we want to make it easier to create indoor visualisations.

I work on special real-time furniture at the moment and did 10 models so far. They come with .dae Opencollada formats too, so you can just drop them into Lumion, do materials and start placing them. :)

You guys Rock Morten :)

Man, it's crazy extra work to create nice interiors.
On the plus side, my Photoshop skills are improving :)

Models aren't an issue. I can always make my own libraries.

Can't wait for the new release...
