Exporting from Sketchup is broken with the 64bit update2, you now need to explode all models to export otherwise they will not show up in Lumion, this does not occur with 32 bit. I have tested this 3 times and conclude this to be a bug.

Reported already: http://lumion3d.com/forum/index.php?topic=1074.0 (http://lumion3d.com/forum/index.php?topic=1074.0)
Hopefully it will be addressed in the soon to be released update 2 (?) or how they are numbered now (you speak of version 2 but is that update 1 or the additional 64 bit release?)
-
Update 2, I downloaded it yesterday...took forever to download.I uninstalled it as there is no point using it if I have to explode my models.

We are working on this issue now. But it is not fixed in 64bit build 2 yet.
I will inform you as soon as we fix it.
The workaround for now is to use 32 bit version.

Hi Pete
that's a bug to be solved as Remko said. For today the options are: explode the model. export from SU to OBJ and reimport or work with 32 bits software....
I hope this issue will be solved soon
-
I had noticed this too Pete - but was working with a different model since changing to 64 bit version.
Glad to know it was a software issue and not something I was going to have to deal with on every model I export.
-
We have just fixed this issue.
It will be available from the next build.
-
Be looking forward to the next build...this is really an annoyance. :-[

Can't you just make a service pack update for this issue?
-
The new update IS a service pack. Maybe a bit to big a service pack though :P
