Why old reflection settings removed in version 2?

lack of Raytrace reflections in lumion render engine (quest3D) is the one of the (also no option for specular and reflection maps in material setting) things that force me to don't use it for interior scenes!
The question is why developers removed that "camera reflection setting" in movie effect in version 2?
those "reflect all objects" and minimum range settings were very useful! and the best of all, that was attached to camera position, so animated camera with correct reflections in the scene was possible!
but after version 2!! sometimes without reflection helper object only land and sky are in reflections! and when you use that reflection helper object, it makes fake (not realistic and correct) reflections and also for animated camera that is completely useless!
so there is no fix or a way to have those old reflection settings effects back again

like in this scene i can't have correct reflection on floor! only reflection of light on top is there! already tried all other reflective materials and used reflection helper! but that doesn't make objects on floor shown in reflection! and that makes the scene looks fake!

The old solution has been removed.

Reflection is done with a cubemap generated for the entire scene at once.
You can add a reflection control object from the light and special object library
Lights/Utilities/Reflection Control
If you place the reflection control in the centre of your room reflection cube will be rendered here.
You can only have 1 cubemap and incase you need it in different location you will need to movie it for still renders or animated for a movie.

I also liked the old one more. I wonder why not doing several reflection points connected to an object? A coded it into my 3d stand-alone for a few bucks using even LUA language. It's really easy.

I'm not sure why they removed this option in Lumion 2.

Perhaps Ferry can shed light on it?

A little deserved bump...

I must place the reflection control object at a ridiculous height to get what was previously "land+sky only".  :-9
