Move on ground (G) doesn't work?

From the Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts thread:
http://lumion3d.com/forum/index.php?topic=2759.

(G): This function will make objects that you are moving or placing in your scene snap to the Lumion terrain while ignoring all other object types.

It seems to work fine in Lumion 2.1 Build 2.

If you're using the same version, can you post some more details please?

Where is no gravity in lumion, therefore no 'walk'.

ok thanks jorgensen
it's a fault to not integrate gravity in lumion and collision, for that i prefere unity 3D or unreal engine
However, lumion  is very good Soft :) but need severals improvements

Hi Woody

All softwares has their ups and downs.

I tried using cryengine, but found it to complex and troublesome. For some years i have used vray for sketchup, it's fast but also quite complex, and animation inside sketchup are not that elegant.

With Lumion i can produce nice illustrations in extreme short time. Sure lumion has it's downs but I hope that future updates adds some of the missing basic features.
