How will be the Lumion future?
Did the company has a strategic plan, how will this software place in the near future?
Where will be the further development concentration and additions to the software....
to be continued as Leader in Realtime Technology.
What other benefits will create that users always remain faithful to Lumion?
Thanks in advance

some fundamental changes

Sounds like I'll have to wait before upgrading to Ultimate V 2.0... Otherwise I might be missing some new feature that will come in extra plugins or something like that.

lol no (I hope)! It was just some kind of joke because Autodesk buys a lot of companies out.
But in my experience if people annouce something big or fundamental changes they either get bought out by another company or change a lot in their product philosophy. Mostly it gets more expensive for their customers.

If I'm about to stick a bit in the dark I only could think of Lumion3 as a technology upgrade with tweaks and enhancements in existing features or skip the yearly upgrade cycle. We got indoor and we got outdoor things now. Mostly its up to the artist doing good assets for the tool.
The tool itself could improve only with changes in UI, and improvements on existing stuff like better terrain handling, better reflections and so on.

It would be a disaster if they followed the example of Autodesk... That would mean making minor changes every year, changing the file format so it becomes incompatible, and charging for the "upgrade".

Did you go to see "TRON: Legacy"?

When someone asked what big changes they had made to the software, considering the price they charge to students and schools, they answered: "This year we put a '12' in the box".
