FYI:
I'm working in an office which is using Lumion. The display driver (275.33 Nvidia Driver) was doing alright till Lumion crashed it, twice now. Had to do a complete reboot, both times. I have since upgraded the Driver to 285.62, but our 2nd monitor resolution became jittery. Planning on going back to  275.33 Driver. Our current computer configuration:
os= win 7 x64 ultimate
vga= evga geforce 8800 gt
ram= 8gb

 8800 gt is a very LOW/SLOW videocard, you run probably out of memory.

Hi Yak, as Peter said, the 8800 GT is unfortunately rather slow:

Unless your scenes are very simple, you may have to upgrade:

My son who currently happens to be exploring the realm of video games (big sigh!) informs me that this so called lowly video card is also quite capable of playing most of the latest computer games. I also recall years ago Cadalyst magazine was also making the point that Games are the main driver behind graphics software, not 2d or 3d cad applications. Clearly games have a way of adjusting the video capabilities of the computer they are installed on, perhaps Lumion should explore that capability.

my 2 cents

Cad is what...vector graphics
Lumion is what....raster graphics
Video games....raster graphics
Cad Cards - maximize vector data
Game Card - maximize raster data

Slower card can play 10 people walking - faster card can play 100 people walking
