Hi guys, i want to know the lumion system requeriments, i cant find everything i want to know on the website. I need at least a Radeon 5850 to use everything of lumion?

i have a core i3-540
- 4gb DD3
- geforce GT 9800 :
GPU Engine Specs:

Processor Cores    112
Graphics Clock (MHz)    600
Processor Clock (MHz)    1500
Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec)    33.6

Memory Specs:
Memory Clock (MHz)    900
Standard Memory Config    512 MB
Memory Interface Width    256-bit GDDR3
Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec)    57.6

Can i use Lumion with these configurations?

(Im sorry for my english)

Lumion will work on this configuration, but it will be slow to use and render.
I would at least upgrade the video card.

5850 you may also consider as slow, it will work, but slow, a I5 is always better as a I3...

Does Lumion support GPU rendering using Nvidia's CUDA, or OpenCL, or both....?

I have an ATI Radeon 5750 that utilizes OpenCL, which is not fully supported or implemented in most other GPU rendering software programs.

Will I experience problems or slow downs with the ATI Radeon 5750?

radeon 5750 will work fine, but a gtx 460 is WAYYY better.

I used to have the 5750 and then I guess I overworked it with Lumion or something else happened to it because the card fried.  I tried to revive it with different clock settings and fan settings, but nothing worked.  It was going at glacial speeds when working with any size model.

But before it fried, it was doing good and I was getting about 6-7 seconds per frame when rendering an animation.  After I got the GTX 460 it went way faster...down to about 3 seconds per frame.  Huge difference in speed/placing objects/importing etc....  I dont even hear the card fan revving.  It handles lumion like a champ!

SketchLA...thanks for your response.  I wonder if the gtx 460 is just a way better card or if it has to do with the CUDA/OpenCL issues I mentioned.

We are using the cores through directx so not CUDA. That doesn't mean it doesn't use all those cores only in a different method.
