Sun position effect problem

Hi all, I'm working on deadline and I have a major issue using Lumion 2.2 Pro.  The sun position is STUCK in all of my animation clips - all of them.  I can change the position of the sun from the working model, but when I switch to the movie editor the sun cannot be changed - its stuck in a single position.  In the animation editor, the "sun position effect " modifying effect does not work any more either.  Even if I delete the "sun position effect" and re-add it, the sliders still do not work.  Its as if there is a stuck sun position variable.

Help!  Thanks!

hi, the simpliest question first:
did you set a keyframe?
do you see the sliders ? (you wrote , they did not work...)

first with the keyframe at the desired video-time-position you can adjust the sliders

Here is a video of what is happening:

There are no sun keyframes set, I'll double check.  To test this I set up a new clip, added a Sun Position effect to it.  But the sliders still do not move the sun.  Its like the whole project has a stuck sun position in movie editting mode.  I'm starting to really worry as my deadline is this Wednesday for this project.  It really could be a great video, too, but I need sun control back!

Did it work before?? Maybe is a driver crash or some plugins missing...try to update the video-card driver or you should re install again Lumion.... ??? :o

Sounds like you have a Sun Position Effect in your Main Movie and this will override the Sun Position Effects for any clip.

If not then maybe some sort of settings corruption for file and Morten would need to look at copy of file.

In meantime if above does not work to clear settings, would suggest go through both Movie and all Clips, and remove all Sun Position effects, do a SaveAs, then close down re-open, then see if can add in and change positon for a clip.

hmmm, let me check on this.  It was working before.

How do I know if I have the Sun Position Effect set for the whole movie?

I also reinstalled the video card drivers, but it still not working.  I'm trying to open the scene on a different pc as well.

thanks, all

Hi Vince,

Check if the 'sun position' effect is applied to the whole movie by selecting the 'Entire Movie' icon.
