Is that a build mode screen capture?

Hi Zahir, Service Pack 2 is more demanding than Service Pack 1, and the GT 320 is unfortunately a rather weak card, i.e. below the recommended minimum requirement for Lumion:
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/video_lookup.php?gpu=GeForce+GT+320

That being said, if there's no way you can upgrade your card:

1) Check that you have installed the latest driver for your graphics card:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us&ptid=1&psid=52&pid=0

2) Check if the shadows look correct when you render that scene as a photo or video clip in 3-star mode.

(seems to only affect the people models)

I reinstalled Directx 9c and Updated to the latest Nvidia Drivers 285.27
however issue still persists.

Does Lumion Sp2 run in Directx 9 or Directx 10 mode ? - my card supports dx9 and dx10

I will also try adding 8gigs of ram to check if that helps.

Somehow I think this is software related .. as I play games like Race diver Grid 1366x768 4xmsaa(Ego engine) and even Dirt 3 runs very smooth (1164 x 576 2xmsaa) so card is capable.
and Dead space 1 & 2 at 1280 x 720 and many more.

but then again I think Lumion is a lot more demanding but this should not be the
case as the models are very simple when compared to high end 3d games which also use
real-time engines.

Therefore Lumion should be made lighter if possible. I am sure you will get more customers
as most people have mid range gfx cards and most cant afford high end 560 / 580 / 590 gtx

I noticed by positioning camera behind the people models you can avoid the artifacts
showing on the final renders if you don't pan the camera around.

Seems I am not alone ---- Thanks for your input :)

I know of one other person that has this problem as well.

Can you please confirm if they are showing in final renders
and tell me what settings are you using ?

post settings here so I can change mine and test again.

Thanks

Ha.  Freaky shadow results   :o.  As Smokey reports.  Especially look at man on left, shadows are delayed/much later than the changes in the mesh.

Occurs in Build Mode and thought maybe it might disappear in render but didn't.  This was rendered in different star settings, same results, this one star3.

Hey buddy,

If you had a look up top the first photo is a build mode screen grab
which means this happens inside of Lumion.

Thanks for your help everyone - the shadows are clearly out of sync with the characters and this issue has now been added to the bug tracker list. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Also, just to clarify things, when you move objects around in the Build section, the shadows take a few milliseconds to update - this is intentional though, so as to reduce the impact they have on performance.

Thanks. - Yes I don't mind if its a little out of sync inside build mode but
as long as final render is clean:)
