Is there a way to "close out" a movie file that has been interrupted during saving?
I had a movie exporting overnight and for whatever reason the computer rebooted during the process.  I now have 200MB file that can not be opened, and no time to re-render.  The data has to be there; how can I make it readable?
Thanks,
Dan

Hmm, someone else asked that question but I don't think they ever managed to solve the problem:

As the file will not have the correct header data it is unlikely any video tools will be able to open and read the file, especially as it is in a compressed format to start with.

It might be useful to see if you can see why your PC rebooted.  It might be just a standard reboot perhaps from a Windows Update, but if it's from the video driver crashing, then it needs to be confirmed otherwise it's likely to happen again.  Check your Windows Administration Event Viewer log to see if there's a reason.
