Hi all,

We are planning on bringing our Lumion samples to clients to show them what the software can do - particularly theatre mode / real time. Would anyone know the type of laptop spec. which would be required to run it smoothly?

Presumable you can install Lumion free version on a laptop to show files?

Many thanks for any help.

Hi James, there's a great thread about this topic over here:

Yes, you could do that with Lumion 1 (if you copied the Trees folder as well as the Buildings, Materials, Nature, Miscellaneous, People and Animals, SpecialEffects and Transport folders in the Project folder from Lumion 1 Basic/Ultimate to Lumion 1 Free). I assume the same thing will be possible once Lumion 2 Free is released, but I don't know for sure. Just bear in mind that Lumion Free is really only for non-commercial purposes.

It would probably save you some hassle if you install Lumion 2 Ultimate on both PCs, de-activate Lumion on your desktop PC and activate Lumion on the laptop before you hit the road. Oh, and don't forget to copy the Scenes & Documents folders to your laptop.
