is there any rain effect or thunder effect in lumion 2.5 ?

Yes, Rain is an effect in the Movie section and lightning will appear if you increase the Cloudy slider to 2).

Also as a tip if you are struggling with getting a lightning on a render and don't wanna wait forever untill one goes of (not a animation frame), just make 2 camera shots (ctrl1 and ctrl2), then toggle back and forth between them will set of a lightning each time.

Maybe we can add a lightning trigger button or even better link it to the timeline.
