question about align-function

I do import a part of a model "A" and place it anywhere as usual in Lumion. After that i add some stuff like people, trees, cars...

Then i do import another part "B" of the model with the same pivot-center like "A" and place it anywhere too.

Now i want to align them the way that "A" stays on its place (with the stuff) and "B" jumps to the pivot of "A".

Which object-dialog do i have to use for the align-command? The one of "A" or of "B"?

Is it correct, that the "B"-part jumps to the "A"-part- pivot when i use align in the "B"-object-dialog? (It seems to be so, but i´m not sure if its ALWAYS correct...)

Hope, somebody understood the muddleheaded words above Smile.

Easiest way is to lock position of object A and then add B to the selection then align...doesn't matter which since A is locked.  FYI, if neither is locked, the object whose menu button was selected for the align command will retain its place.
