 Is 1280x1024 your resolution?

How much did you pay for your 3d card? Unfortunately a 180 euro 460 GTX 1.5 gb is going to be 10x faster then your current card. Also 512 MB of memory is on the low side! Does Lumion crash immediately or after you do a certain action?

You can see that Lumion is still open in your screenshot. If the driver crashes and you go back to Lumion the driver crashes again?

Definitively a driver crash. It's really hard to solve a problem like this for us because this problem is probably specific for that particular 3D card. Most common solution is that NVIDIA fixes the bug in a later driver and the problem does not occur anymore. Is there anything specific you have to do before this crash occurs? Does it occur right at startup? Does it crash after loading one scene? We have seen one case of this before but it was on a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus. It occured right after you clicked one of the default scenes. Might this be the same problem?

The best way is to solve it is use a 3d card that actually is going to run Lumion correctly. Like the 460 GTX (200 euro) or a 480 gtx or a 580 gtx.

I think Ferry is referring to the performance of the card not the crash. The crash is very specific to your system and we try everything to track down the driver issue and work around it. Apparently Lumion is doing something the driver never expected and we have to find out what that is.

Usually a problem like this is caused by something in the code that's not really necessarily wrong but it wasn't anticipated by the maker of the driver. Most cards have no problems at all and some suddenly crash.

It's not a crash that only occurs with Lumion of course. If another program hits the same bug it will crash the driver too. I have seen the crash after loading a scene before which is a good hint because it's similar to a bug we saw in an Optimus system.
