Each version of the lumion the price doubles, but the amount of resources is not proportionate to the value. Before putting the product value in the stars, it would be nice to add the tools that are missing, do not put airplane in the sky. I was very excited to buy Lumion, but after this nonsense, I quit, I'll try to Twinmotion.

What version did he have?  The cost did not double...it is a completely different version set.  We will welcome him back whenever he returns...

I will be happy to welcome anyone back.
I will be curious to find out what the experience was over there.

Can someone link me to TwinMotions Galley of client examples?
i'm curious to see what is good there.

Wow have things really changed! I remember looking at TwinMotion's initial release videos and was impressed by the rendering image quality while the Lumion 1 image quality seemed a little behind. Now? Wow! Lumion's render quality is insanely good and TwinMotion doesn't seem to have improved at all.

The upgrade price is a little unsettling to me too, but sorry, there's nothing out there like Lumion right now. Best of luck with the TwinMotion pricing. ;)

The TwinMotion web site looks pretty much identical to how it looked two years ago. It looks like they're not moving, which is ironic.  ;) The growing-pains problem we're experiencing here is that Lumion is being aggressively improved and enhanced at a breathtaking rate. Pretty awesome, on the whole, I think.

You go to the movies and watch what they want you to watch.
Or you learn how to make your own and watch what you want to watch.

I think you are confused.  The regular Lumion is the same price.  There is a new product in the lineup called Lumion Pro.  It adds many new features over Lumion and it's the same price as Twinmotion with many more features.  I tried Twinmotion and it failed horribly with even the most modest of my projects.

Thanks.  I'd vote you both up 1.  But I can't because i already voted you both up a long time ago.
Thanks for bringing me back up.

I also tried twinmotion. Was excited until all I got was crashes and horrible performance. Chose Lumion and never looked back. Good luck and please keep us posted to show us your work. As I mentioned on the other post I love the friendly competition.

Twinmotion got something Lumion has not in my opinion: A good UI.

The brush based vegetation painting is worth gold and should be in Lumion from the start. Even some game-engine editors from 2004 have brush based vegetation painting. I would have saved a lot of time if I would be able to paint vegetation assets. It must be not so hard to code in and we all use lots of vegetation. Mostly. I hope for it in Lumion 3! Together with specular map support and other transparency than alphatest. :)
