after rendering a 3d video, anyone can guide me on how to make it (baked) or
converted to 1 16:9 image other than YouTube, and assuming I do use YouTube,
what is the required 3d glasses required Polarized or anaglyph?.

HUGE REFLECTION problem on glass materials when is it going to be fixed.

rendering 3d causing screen to flash on and off all white screen as if your changing resolution in lumion or pressing f11

Low sun angel creates an insanely long shadow that can’t be existing in
reality.

Any chance you’re going to add fix back culling problem button like
twinmotion?

Are there in the future any plans to make collaboration tools, ex: assign
regions to specific people and update live as another person on the network is
working on that region, this will help huge projects.

Is there a way to view lumen file without guy in order to present to client or
so.

Any plans in the future to be able to send exe file to clients without the
need of lumen to be installed (view purposes only)

One button re-import/refresh updates all models (assuming many imports exist
and many changes done to each of those models)

Why is there no option to determine the depth (layer level) of textures
other than the paint material?

Can you please add an option to name groups, and perhaps when you mouse over
controllers of an object display its name assuming many exist on the same spot?

Possibility to add more than 5 layers? It could be there but I didn’t find
it sorry if this one seems stupid.

Possibly add a shortcut key or hotkey to deselect all as it gets annoying to
keep pressing more option then deselect all option.

Is there a way to create soft shadows? Ex: long distance shadow the sun
normally will reduce this shadow sharpness as it goes further away from the
building.

Is there a possibility to import pre-animated fbx files?

as I can see in your forum your mentioned you’re going to add dof in the
future in addition to interior lighting so on and so forth, will this be included
with this release of lumen, or you’re going to be releasing lumen 2 for those,
if so how long before its out.

Final question what are your requirements for a reseller?

kind regards

Mahmoud Ahmad.

I also vote to remove the GUI in order to present to the client.

Shadow problem.

Snapping tool for placing model in exact location.

i would like to have a marquee selection tool (box drag mouse selection) just
like in max or Photoshop in order to select large amount of object.

Reflections are way too large on some camera angels.

i vote also for the lighting interiors.

but most important to me is snapping tool for exact placing, and the selection marquee.

The reflection problem is already fixed in update 1. Which we will release in final soon.

If you see flashes that is because you don't have enough memory. The update requires a bit less memory so that might fix your problem.

We just calculate the shadow and this is the result.

We will look at double sided materials.

We will eventually look into working together on one project but don't expect this pre 2.0

Currently you can only show your Lumion project in Theatre mode.

We might add exe but that might also be a different Lumion version. We will see.

We might add the reload to the context menu making it possible to update multiple.

I don't understand your depth question.

We might add groups.

Currently there are only 5 layers.

Deselect all sounds good.

You can only create soft shadows with external program and use it as lightmap currently.

You can't currently import animation. We will see if we want to add this. Importing animation is a topic with many problems.

We will try to add DOF in the first big update. That is pre 2.0 and probably within 3 months.

For resellership contact us by email with your request.

You can already remove the GUI in theatre mode.

You can already use a box drag.

Reflection is fixed.

We will probably add some snapping later.

Thank you very much for your quick reply

What about the 3d part of my questions?

as for layers example is your lumion tutorial number 3 at 2:14 depth. its

only available in the color material but not on the other materials, why this

is important to me is because sometimes overlapping parts of the model tend to

create flashing like material problems and the way to fix it is to assign

material depth sadly only color materials have this option (unless it skipped

my browsing through the software). in addition are you going to add reflection and bump map capability to the color material?

Any rulers or guides or perhaps like max helper objects are introduced to

help with calculating distances.

For glass is it better to use a double sides model (meaning with thickness)

or not?

Is there an option to switch off snap to the nearest surface as placing

trees sometimes cause trees to be placed over each other if placement is close.

any plans on adding something similar to max multiscatter, where you select

3 or so types of trees and paint them randomized in an area.

Will lumion 2.0 be a big patch update, or sold as upgrade/new software package?

Any plans in the future to sell lumion made model packages.

once again thank you very much for your hard work.

if you press [G] while placing trees they stick to the ground.

On normal materials the depth is called ZBias which we will rename. Attached a picture.

The custom autouv material should be able to do what you want with reflection and bumpmap.

I am not sure about glass try it :)

We will look into placing more then 1 item simultaneously.

We will release a major update or multiple major updates for free. Lumion 2.0 will be a bigger update of course and will have a similar upgrade path as Quest3D has.

Resellers have asked for model packages and we will keep an open mind to the idea.
