Hello

Has anybody tried to make panoramic image out off Lumion?

In other words. How could one get spherical image out off Lumion?

If I make one with VRay I change camera type to "spherical" and change Field of view to 360. Usually 8000x4000px big jpg. Than take it in DevalVR player.

I tried taking series off images in Lumion and that stiching them with AcroPano Photo Stitcher, but the result is faaaar from good.

example from Deval homepage: http://www.devalvr.com/paginas/galeria/gallery.html

or this nice example: http://www.sphericalimages.com/

In my opinion that would be another amazing use of Lumion ...

Well, as I understand in version 2 there will be ability to export to runtime 3D, so the presentation will provide full 3D walkthrough which would generally be much better than a VR, although of course it would be nice to see and know that it played nicely in all browsers as well as stand-alone.

It is on the wish list already and I hope it will indeed be implemented. Something around 8000x4000 would be already quite good (although I could even imagine some higher resolution ones).

Panoramas and real time walkthroughs do not necessarily exclude each other. They are for different purposes (especially that those walkthroughs are not planned to work in websites for instance).

Hi storo

Lumion v6.3 provides for 3 major panoramic formats including VR as explained by Morten in the link below.

What is it that is missing?

We are still waiting for you to register your Lumion licence requested in two other topic :re [License Registration Requested] 360 images.  you will find it worthwhile in doing so.

Hi!
I am using Lumions new panorama 360 export to Gear VR, but dont understand how i make the "eye" controls for switching between viewpoints. If I render out a scene with more than one viewpoint, Lumion creates one .jpg per view, and doesnt let me "jump" between viewpoints..
I also wonder what the best app for showing the Gear VR picture on a computer with just "one view" (instead of left+right) so that people can see whats displying in the Gear VR.. Hope you understand what I am after.. :-)
Kind regards Patrik
