is it possible to create own material libraries (textures) within the lumion material system?

It possible with some limitations.

If you create a material from a standard material, you have a function to save it to disk.
You can copy/past this within 1 project also to another objects.
In the same project and other project you can reload the saved material from disk, by using the standard material selection.

hi and thanx, i don't understand exactly.
so i can save and reload lumion materials - ok, that is great, have to try,
but

what i want to have are new subfolders in the lumion menue with my own textures , so i could apply them to lumion or imported objects, instead doing that for ex. in sketchup.

is this possible?

Your own saved materials will not show in the library.

So you need to apply standard material and then load the saved material.
