Opacity/alpha map problems

I'm trying to get this nice hedge into Lumion. Exported from Vue I get two textures, diffuse and alpha. I can choose wich type off file they are. I chose .png format
When imported into Lumion I get the first hedge result, black borders.
I thought inverting the alpha texture might solve it, but no luck.
There is no way to edit this transparency in Lumion , is there? It has to be in the model/texture?
I'm not a big expert on this tranparancy stuff, so any help is welcome!

-Put the opacity/alpha map into the alpha channel of the diffuse map.
-Load the texture with the standard shader and clip it (reflection or clip slider to the right).

Forgive my noob question, but how do I put the opacity map into the alpha channel of the diffuse map.
In photoshop?

Check this quick tutorial (there are many more showing similar stuff).
http://designreviver.com/tutorials/photoshop-101-working-with-alpha-channels/

The example .psd can be downloaded below the last pic of the ugly dog on the page.
Should get you going.
If you get stuck just pm me a link to the files and I'll wrap it up for you.

It worked.
I did it a bit different, but hey, it works.
I made a selection in PSP which I erased (making that part transparant) then saving as png.

A note to Lumion staff.
It would be great if these kinds of hedges would available as Lumion plants. Don't know if that's allready on the wishlist. The ones that I'm now using are a bit heavy on the scene.
These types of hedges are very common in my region (Netherlands)

Well if you created the hedges yourself we have no objection into including them :P

That would be great Ferry, I would only charge a couple of euro's per Lumion license sold  })
Too bad it's not my own work. These are Cornucopia hedges for Vue. I exported them to .3ds files

Can't they be created with the Speedtree package?
