Hi, i've been recently started testing Lumion to see if it's a good choice in comparison with other 3d architectural rendering program's. Excuse me if i posted wrong or broke any forum rules. I posted a picture. my question is : how i can rotate the object on the Z coordonate ( around the main street in front of the house so it can sit on land ) and not around the secondary street axe ( just for you to get the idea of what i am asking ). Or this can't be done and have to be fixed in some other way. PS. I created the object in ArchiCAD. Thanks in advance.

You can rotate the object.  From Import Object --> Move --> Rotate Bank or Rotate Pitch depending on where the true Up axis is on the model.

However, you are best to fix the axis from the export process in the source (ArchiCAD) modelling tool so that as you do further changes to the source model it is exported and re-imported correctly for the correct axis for Lumion to save time.

Check the ArchiCAD import forum topic and search, I think the answer for which axis is up in ArchiCAD is somewhere around, depending on what format you export to.

after around of 3 hours playing with the imports, coordonate and measurement unit ( i had problems with that also ) in archicad and 3dsmax i finally made it and now i can play a bit with it. This was 2nd problem after the driver crash error on 325GT M on my laptop. Thanks anyway ... that would be a lot faster but anyway.. i will know for future.

You'll need to turn Settings -> Always Advanced on in the Settings menu to be able to see the Rotate Pitch/Bank buttons. Please be sure to check out the Tips & Tricks thread in the F.A.Q. Section where this is described in more detail.
