Hey folks out there,

I just tested my Acer 3D beamer with one of my Lumion scenes and it worked great. As the support said you have to press CTRL while clicking the Lumion icon to start Lumion in fullscreen mode and then you can walk through your scene in stereoscopic view (if you have the nvidia 3D Vision Kit or something like that). A button inside lumion is missing to toggle between fullscreen mode and windowed mode. That would be helpfull.

Do you open just your scene or do you open the full program and then load your scene?  Do you have to turn on any settings on the video card to get 3D, or does the display recognize automatically?  Thanks for the help.

No I have to restart Lumion. You must double click on the Lumion Icon on your desktop while pressing CTRL. Lumion then starts in fullscreen mode (that is the only diffrence). Then I load my scene as always and can see my scene in 3d (in the editor or presentation mode).

You have to activate the stereo mde on your geforce graphic card. The rest will be done by the nvidia driver.

Hope that helps...

I assume you need a 3-d capable display?

yes, when you press ctrl while hovering over the render size you will get advanced settings like jpg or mpg output and 2d or 3d output. You can then render the scene as stereo video file. Or you just watch it in the presentation mode in stereo.

When you render out a stereo MP4 you can directly upload it to Youtube and it will work! Youtube supports 3D. All you have to do is add a special tag to the movie so Youtube renders it in 3D.
