It looks cool but somewhat disappointing at the same time.
The entire lensflares suit has obviously been inspired by BF3 and since CE3 was hugely
lacking in that department, any improvements whatsoever are a plus already.
My biggest concern is that they still seem to think their LPV based GI is cool enough to
just iterate it with glossy reflections and be done with it?

I was hoping for more, especially since it still seems like they haven't enabled GI from
anything but the sun. At least I don't see it, nor can I find anything to read about it.
For games this might be fine but for using CE3 as a more generic oriented visualization engine,
it will be interesting to see whether this new version of their engine brings anything really
worthwhile to the table....

Hmmm looks nearly identical to the games we have right now. Some new fx here and there but nothing jaw dropping.

I more and more get the impression that we need new game consoles. Current gen game consoles are holding back technology. I think the dx11 features in crysis 2 and 3 are only a fraction of what is possible. Essentially the dx11 features are minor additions to what in essence is still dx9.
