Lumion support single card double chip video card (GTX590 or GTX690), but does not support GTX670 double video card SLI in parallel, is that right?

Hi sun9868, SLI works but you won't experience better performance in Lumion. For that reason, we recommend graphics cards with single-core GPUs only.

I'm ordering my GTX 690 this week, even if i don't benefit from its dual GPU, i still want it, but i want to be sure it will not be worse than the 680.

Can someone confirm that...and anyone had experience with a 680 with C4D.

Let's put it this way, which GTX is the best for those 3 softwares: Lumion, C4D and AutoCAD.

Simple question isn't it...............i'm not a gamer neither a big PC technician, just a guy who has to build 3D and render them......as fast as possible.

Lumion, Cinema4D and AutoCAD don't benefit from multiple GPUs, so buying a card with 2 GPUs would be a waste of money. To make matters worse, you would only be able to use half of the onboard memory.

If I were you, I'd buy the Nvidia GTX 680 instead.

And you double-checked that your PC is compatible with this card + your new power supply?

Well yes and no. Mental ray for Cinema 4D can use realtime GPU rendering, and I personaly belive more and more renders will be based on GPU renders.
