Hi All,

I see on the registered member area that there is now (Lumion SP2 Build2) available for download. Is this
different from the one that we recently downloaded? I note that the team indicates that this fixes the activation problem, do we need to download this if one didn't experience activation problems. I mean downloading again a file of 2.1gig plus can be quite hectic within a short space of time from the previous download. Why can't service packs be just additional small files that fixes the problem?

Kind regards,

Alickn

Hi Alickn, Lumion SP1 Build 1 64-bit unfortunately had some problems for some users (errors when starting it up, activation issues as well as invisible trees), so we provided an (unoffical) patch for it.

Arthur has also updated the download link in the Customer Area and uploaded the (full) patched version (Build 2) for people who are only just beginning to download the 64-bit version.

So, if you already installed the 64-bit version (Build 1) last week, you really only need the files from the unofficial patch in this post:

However, if you're using the 32-bit version, you don't have to do anything.

Both versions will be updated with various bug fixes later this week.

Thanks Mortein for your quick response. I use 32 bit version. Is there a remarkable advantage of the 64bit version over the 32bit one?

64 bit avoids memory issues for big projects. There seems to be a strange issue with the 64 bit version on some 3D cards though causing this bottom 30cm of trees to disappear.
