Lumion movies to websites?

I know that the subject is misleading, but actually I have another problem.
Basically this question is both for Lumion and some videos that I'm making with Softimage, but I would like some advices from you.

I'm doing a simple character animation where the main point is to show how to use a device, so the setup for the website will be
Home page>click link for the device>as soon as you click a video player will pop up ( fullscreen or similar to the ones that you can see when you open a video that is not youtube ) and the video will start

Now I don't have to make the website, but since videos both in Lumion and in Softimage are quite heavy I was wondering if there is a way to convert those movies in something that can be viewed from a website like I described above.

I just need to give them a proper video ( flv? ) in order for them to put it on the website and be viewed as soon as the webpage is opened

I would also try the upload on youtube, but since I want to do something else I would like to try something similar to the videos that you can see on many websites that pop up.

I hope I made myself clear and I really hope that someone could answer me!

Sorry but regarding flash/websites I'm not that expert :(

Thanks :)

There are a few ways to do it.

Check this link out.
http://vimeo.com/pro

You could upload the video to youtube or vimeo and when a visitor clicks a link on that website the video from either could open up in a pop-up window and play the movie from vimeo or youtube.

or are you looking for something like this?

I use Adobe Media Encoder CS5 to convert Lumion videos to another (smaller) format.  The program is free with all of the design suites offered by Adobe.  CS5 has definite improvements over CS4. The current version is CS5.5.  The software contains presets for YouTube, Blu-Ray, etc. making it's use very simple.
