We successfully used the faast hack to control LumenRT with Microsoft Kinect for Xbox. We are waiting for the PC version due Feb 1st to do the same for Lumion. We want our customers to be able to walk around the gardens/buildings we produce in Lumion.
We also intend to produce more entourage for Lumion via the Kinect.
Does anyone else have any interest in either of these two uses of the Kinect for Lumion?
Does anyone have any thoughts about this topic ahead of the release on 1st February.

Yeah!  this is interesting as could be.
No more hand modeling?  Scan items with your kinect and have a model?  that's cool.

I'm watching both with real interest, Leonar3do is still pretty pricy were as leap is looking very good value.
Has any one had any success with leap?

Leap is not released yet, but it looks like you may preorder for $70. They mention the ETA Dec 2012, or Jan 2013 in the website https://live.leapmotion.com/order.html

And I really like the Leonar3Do too but $2,000?
