Hi,

I have tried several times to import a autocad 3D or 3DSmax model in Lumion but it never works. I tried exporting to all the possible readable formats (DAE,DFX,...) but nothing works. I always see a preview of my model in a little square, but when I push on place model, nothing appears...

Can u help me?
Thank you!

Please check two very common posibilities:
1. The model is too small / too big. Check your model size before export.
2. The object is far away from scene origin. During importing in Lumion the white arrow means point 0,0,0 in your scene. Just be sure that your object is close to it before export.

Please let us know.

I can export perfectly from Max 2010 by FBX (Z-up) option. Directly from Max is not rapid and rotate the axis. So try FBX
