I think this is good quesion if we make Comparison between 3dmax & lumion3d by evaluation
creteria and % of Proximity of realism.
and that make by product image in 3dmax and make same image in lumion3d
and we suppose that take 90% in 3dmax .... how match do you think in lumion3d.
in same time i think the adminstration lumion3d group have this Comparison
please tell as

hi all
for now i think render in 3dxmax(vray/mentalray/maxwell) are more closer to realism than what lumion can produce now. But i use both of them still.  :-D
I use Lumion for early proposal stages when u need a really quick previews to express the design.
I use 3dsMax for the final stages for example : images to put in marketing brochures.
Hell Lumion can produce very very fast animation! I prefer to use Lumion for all animation rather than 3dsmax that will take weeks of render alone!

It's hard to assign a percentage to what is ultimately subjective.  Try viewing the gallery to get a good idea about what is possible.  There are good videos and some not so good ones.  The program is not the only component.  Don't forget about the creator.
