Is it possible to edit an imported object ? Can we modify 3d geometry ? Is it possible to delete single objects of my imported model ?

You can't do modeling in Lumion but we rely on the modeling software you use. This is how it works:

1) Export model

2) Import model in Lumion

3) Apply materials, create scene in Lumion

4) Go back to modeling package and move geometry or delete

5) Export model using same filename as before

6) In lumion click import mode, click to edit materials and click reload button on the right

The reload button reloads the model so you you can use any modeling package in the background to modify a model you already have. Lumion is smart enough to reapply all the changes you made since you imported the model so you keep all settings.

Note that there's a bug when you delete parts of you models so the materials might get messed up. If you move geometry it works fine though. We will soon have an update which fixes this.

Thank you Remko for your fast reply.

Just one more question:

is it possible to change the dimensions of the library's object ? for example, could I scale trees or stones or something similar ?

Scaling didn't make it for initial release but we're working on it.

Thanks for your patience.

To adjust the pitch or bank of an object, select the proper category and then select the move tool.  Holding down Ctrl shows two more rotation icons to each side of the original rotate icon; one is for pitch (rotation along the long axis) and the other is for bank (along the transverse axis, or going up a hill).
