When i tried to download new free 213 version of L. through my torrent (lumion free - customer area - lumion213 Free.torrent), Dashboard.aspx file was loaded on my PC, not .torrent. Where is my mistake?

Hi newman, have you tried right-clicking on the torrent link followed by "Save link as..."?

It seems to work fine in FireFox and in Internet Explorer 9.

Which browser are you using?

Try to right-click + "Save link as..." twice. Does it work the second time?

On a similar note, the links to the installer file (not torrent file) used to be direct i.e. the file ref and you could use a download manager such as FDM to download (never had problems this way).

But now it seems the link is passed to a backend script and it's now only possible to download directly with the browsers inbuilt downloader, which are sort of OK but not preferred.

Why the change and limitation, I might as well do the download via torrent (except its slower) and then there can be just the one file link (torrent) and not bother with the other at all.
