how can i make costume shaped light emitting object that also casts SHADOWS in lumion?
can i make it in 3d max and import it to lumion ?

Hi alizorro, there are only 2 artificial light types in Lumion:
IES lights in the Lights category and 360 degree point lights.

You can't create light sources based on imported meshes.

Search for "Lumion lightmap". I believe there is a way to bake it in another software and then import the baked illumination to Lumion.

Sure, if he doesn't mind the hassle of baking lightmaps in 3DS Max, he can simply bake them into the Self-Illumination map channel of Standard materials, and then apply a Lightmap material to the surface in Lumion.
