Hi

BACKGROUND
I wonder how should we handle licenes as a firm?
I have a license that is connected to my login on Lumion.

ONE LICENSE TWO USERS
What if a other person in our firm would like to use that license - then I have to give him my login data?

TWO LICENSES TWO USERS
How do we handle two Licenses?

Do I have to / should I create a 'Company login'?

HOMEPAGE / FORUM
I don't remember, do we use the same login to access both Customer area and the Forum?
If so, my college gets the same access but in my name?

Hi jorgensen, that's not a problem. Just de-activate the license on PC A, and then forward the login details to your colleague, so that he can activate the license on PC B. There's more information here (search for "Activating Lumion" and "De-activating Lumion"):

It is possible to have 2 separate licenses registered with 2 separate accounts. Howver, I don't know what Arthur currently recommends if you prefer to have a single account with 2 license keys. I'll reply to this post again once I've had a chance to ask him.

Yes, you use the same login details for the Customer Area and for the forum (you only need to sign in once).

So now my college can login as me on the website?

Seems a bit inexpedient :-/

But the alternative is to have to profiles?

Arthur says that if you buy two licenses, you have 2 options:

1) You can either use a single forum account with 1 login name, 1 password and 1 email address, and attach both product keys to that account.

-or-

2) Or you can set up two separate forum accounts with separate login names, passwords and email addresses, and attach 1 product key to each account.

You're free to choose whichever method is most convenient for you and your colleague.

Some of my hardware was renewed in my pc (same harddisk, different motherboard, more memory and same graphics card). When i start lumion, it says my copy needs to be activated, but when i try to login, it says my version is already activated. I'm using the same user as before. Is there another way i can deactivate?

Hi m.de.koning, changing the motherboard requires re-activation.

I've now de-activated your license remotely - please try to activate it again.

Hi Morten - having same problem here with my own account.. trying to de-activate on one machine and re-active on another. Not working - telling me 'already activated' on both machines now, but still only opening in Demo mode.
Any help much appreciated
