Hi jerome934,

We do not issue educational licenses to individuals, so a "Purchase Order" is basically an official document from an educational institution, e.g. a school, college or university.

The document should state that the institution in question want to order a given number of Lumion Educational or Lumion Education PRO licenses.

I have a few questions.
I bought an individual educational license a few months ago using my faculty ID. Is upgrading by that route no longer a possibility?
Is the free educational version the same as standard Lumion and the 299. ed version is Lumion Pro?
What are the limitations of the ed version? watermark? So that's 299. per license? I don't know the exchange rate to dollars, but that's about 12, 000 dollars for a lab of 30 students, right?
The free ed version will be more or less an upgraded version of the ver 2.2.1 I bought?
I want to make sure I understand all of this before I contact the admin guy that can write a purchase order for my class.

The difference between Educational and Educational Pro are stated on the website http://lumion3d.com/educational-specifications/

Since you have a paid version, your license will be upgraded to Educational Pro automatically.

Lumion Edu Pro costs 299.- (ex VAT) per seat, depending on the license volume bought. So for the exact price for a lab of 30 students, contact sales [at] act-3d.com

If you own a Lumion EDU 2 license: By downloading Lumion 2.5

thanks much.
Even though my poor 260m is woefully inadequate, I appreciate being able to play with Lumion Pro. The background rendering option helps....
Should be fun when I upgrade my card...

Hello,
This educational licenses are only valid to install in lab computers? Can the students install it on their personal laptops? Around here the public universities no longer have money to upgrade lab computers, so the last ones are from 2008 and "dying" fast. Nowadays we rely mostly on students bringing their laptops to the class, and also most of the rendering work as to be done on their time outside the class hours.
