Fellow Lumioners, I wanted to ask u the following, I'm setting up my own shop soon and I want to know if Lumion works with a dual monitor configuration....how would that work? also if I buy a new pc, is it possible to have 2 video cards so that the renderings are super fast?

thanks!

If the Lumion window is dragged from one screen to the other Lumion does check if the current Monitor is running on another GPU and re-intializes itself. But we created that Lumion won't render if it is not active (to fix the minimize and then uncontrolable system problem).

So currently it wont get any faster with that setup. Also 2 videocards don't really speedup final render. Your best bet is a single 580 GTX extreme probably.

Stretching the screen over the 2 monitors requires you to have 1 video card with stretched desktop. I am not sure if someone uses Lumion this way. 1 single widescreen monitor is then probably a bit nicer to work on. Most users that I see with dual monitor use a 3d application on 1 monitor and Lumoin on the other.
