From Ferry:

I know very little about sketchup. I wish I could help you but someone who did this often has to help. I do think you will need 64 bit win7 if the model is big. Since in 32 bit you can only use 1.2 gig of memory which for a big model is quickly not enough.

From See3D.be

I use SketchUp 7 and 8 on win7 32 en 64bit, exporting dae never a problem with it.

Keep in mind that for SketchUp 7, you best use the latest version, because first version of SU7 dae export will not load in Lumion.

Did you try to export the scene in parts?

It sounds more like a pc related issue, or is the scene SO big?

see3d.be,thank you for your replying!but i should say we've tried to export the model in parts, what's more,we've tried to export the simple model, such as a cube without any materials, unquestionably,it's a small scale scene, but unfortunately,we failed time and again!

see3d,my sketchup's version is su7.1.6860pro,as i said no matter what the scene is,even it's a simple cube without any materials or textures, and we have done a simple test between win732bit and xp sp3,the result is that we can't export it in WIN732BIT,but in xp it's ok.could you help us to make a test with the same version of sketchup in win732bit,in that case, we can make sure is it a problem in pc or in software.thank you see3d
