Can Lumion be exported so that clients can walk-through projects.  If there is a feature - will it be available on mobile devices.

Is there an app for Lumion.

thanks,
Julian

Lumion is not capable of publishing an .exe client file at this time.  Regarding mobile devices, a past survey offered an ipad app as one of the choices for developers to realize.

That's all we would need to be competitive with mainstream game engines.  Lumion is almost there.

We were thinking of purchasing Cryengine 3, but the price difference between that and Lumion does not justify the purchase.

We are looking at purchasing Lumion with the hope it will have additional features in the next releases.

Thanks,

Hi Julian, the developers of Lumion very rarely provide guarantees concerning upcoming features due to the unpredictable nature of software development.

For that reason, I would strongly advise against purchasing Lumion on the basis of future expectations.

As far as I know, there are currently no plans to implement an iPad viewer for Lumion. We do not want you to be disappointed with your purchase, so you should only buy Lumion if it can do the job with the current feature set.

There is no standalone viewer for Lumion, and real-time walkthroughs on another PC is only possible if you have a full installation of Lumion on the client PC, and you transfer the scene and library files to that PC manually. You would also have to de-activate the Lumion license on your own PC before you activated it on the client PC.
