Bringing an Old Lumion Project Back

I regularly backup my C:\Users\danc\Documents\Lumion 2\ directory to an external hard drive.  I did a project using Lumion 2 and finished it several weeks ago.  Exported all of my stills and animations, closed out of Lumion, backed up the directory listed above, opened Lumion up and deleted the project.  Yesterday I decided I'd like to open that project up again.  I'm now using the latest build 2.1.4.  I thought it would be simple...exit Lumion.....then just copy back to the appropriate directory the .spr and .sva files to the scenes folder and then also copy back the appropriate model files to the library directory...four files for each model used....  .lib, .lib.inn, .lib.mtt, and .lib.txx.  I did all that and opened Lumion.  When I go to the load project menu I see all of my current projects but the one I copied back in using Windows Explorer is nowhere to be found.  How do I go about loading an old project or getting it to show up again in the load project screen?  I'm talking about the Lumion project as a whole not the individual model pieces.

Thanks!
Dan

Hi Dan, I never heard a bug report regarding this, so it really should work fine, and you seem to have done everything right.

1) Just double-checking, but did you use Lumion Ultimate or Lumion Free when you created the original scene? Lumion Free scenes can't opened in Lumion Basic/Ultimate (their thumbnails are black and Lumion crashes if you try to open one of those scenes).

2) Can you zip + upload the scene files that don't show up in the Load Scene browser window? (There's no need for the Library models)

Yes, everything was created in Ultimate.  I've attached the scene files to this post...

Thanks for uploading the scene files, Dan.

It seems to work fine here after copy-pasting the Scene files to the folders, and restarting Lumion. The thumbnail is dark though but that's nothing serious - it typically happens if you save the scene while you're in the Movie section and a clip with the Fade in/out effect is active.

Do let me know if it still doesn't work.

Strange....I went into my scenes folder and deleted the two files again.  Started Lumion.  Loaded another project.  Exited Lumion.  Copied the two files back in again.  Started Lumion...presto!  It showed up this time.  I could have been low on caffeine yesterday I guess....  :o

Thanks for your help!
Dan
