Best way would be via a particle emitter.
Should be fairly doable for the team. Lets hope they agree.

Could also be done in a very limited fashion via Speedtree
or via a particle emitter in a app of choice which you'd have to import
as keyframed mesh objects.

Would be cool to have, together with piles of fallen leaves and twigs and bikini's etc.

This would be great for us, we would like to add leaves to the lawn and other areas to increase realism.

Needs to be so that you can use your own leaf textures, as well as colour for the particles, speed, direction, number of particles etc.
