I'm curious what tools for post processing and editing you guys use?

More the expensive ones like Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier / After Effects?
Moviemaker?

I think I need to do some cutting, blendings and color corrections to the movies plus adding sound to the movies. It's not a big part of my daily work but i can get Adobe products relative cheap because of the techer licenses so I consider to buy something like that.

In that case Premiere Elements will be the weapon of choice. Does the features you named, and costs about 100,00€. If its not mighty enough, you do not lose much money.
I work with it since years, because in the daily jobs it benefits quite enough to me.
Try demo, and you will see if its enough for you  ;):

Yeah, wouldn't go AE for those kind of things.
It well worth the investment later on though since it's by far the most powerful ppp around.
Takes a year or so but by then you'll be able to turn a banana into a lush green valley with tons of purple
critters walking about.

Never knew about Premier Elements. Looks very cool and I guess I will give it a try the next days.
Thanks for the hint!

VirtuaDub is freeware and does all the post processing you will ever need. For just cutting, editing, adding music, titles and transitions, go for another free program: Pinnacle Videospin.
