Alpha and Transparency

Has anyone posted yet about using transparency and alpha maps to create see through materials?
I have some metal mesh and patterned frit material that works great in sketchup, but all the clear alpha areas show up as white in Lumion.

What is the work around for this type of material?

Thanks

Can you upload the material here, will try to get it to work in a model?  Have not had an issue, but could just be the way the image file is saved.

Interesting as I have not experienced this - my railing has no white parts however now as I tested, there is some faint tinting between the rails here (only visible when the white wall is behind)

The tint behind is the SSAO, if you reduce the SSAO effect you will see the shaded area reduce.

Here is a quick shot,  just slide the "Reflection or Clip"  entirely to the right using the standard material selection.  Turn the brightness down to eliminate the white outline, and reflection to brighten it back up, shazam!  Now i realize i have a little white still around, but i did not play around with the texture settings at all in Lumion...just a little reflection which probably blew it out a little bit.  Hope this helps.
