3DS format is a old format and had big limitations.

So best to use collada or FBX format.

Our 3ds importer isn't even that bad but we found many problems with 3ds exporters also. So please try collada (DAE) and FBX for your models!

I will ask Artur our imported coder to take a look. Can you send him one of your 3ds files that don't work?

Hi Sliner,

I tested your file and it seems to be correctly imported into lumion.

The problem is that your objects are VERY small (about 1 cm) and this was reason they weren't visible in Lumion.

Please open your file in modeler than check scale, orientation and position. Export again and you will import it into lumion without problems.

The Collada (*.DAE) and FBX are the best formats to import scenes into lumion.
